Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.to sign-in and chat with fellow Democrats. The regular meeting will start at 6 p.m. with remarks from local elected officials and community announcements.

The featured discussion is “Resources & Training for Colorado Democrats” with Morgan Carroll, Chair of the Colorado Democratic Party.

This event is open to all Summit County neighbors. Families and children are welcome.

 

Summit County Democratic Party September 2017 Meeting

Doors open at 5:30 p.m.to sign-in and chat with fellow Democrats, including Noel Ginsburg, candidate for Colorado governor. The regular meeting will start at 6:15 p.m. with remarks from our local elected officials and community announcements.

Join moderator Julie McCluskie, Summit School District Director of Communications and candidate for Colorado House District 61, and special guest Angelika Schroeder, our representative and chair of the State Board of Education, for a discussion on state and local education issues.

Summit School District Superintendent Kerry Buhler will also participate and our newly elected school board members – Tracey Carisch, Kate Hudnut and Bonnie Ward –  are invited to briefly introduce themselves and share their goals for the SSD Board with our community.

This discussion on educational issues, challenges and successes in Colorado is open to all Summit County neighbors. Families and children are welcome.
